I'm sorry to see they haven't been here to help and have no other method of support, but if you are still watching let me see if I can help:
So the app isn't finding your computer, right? Well, I'll start with a checklist, just to be sure:
You have installed the server program on your computer
You have allowed any firewall pop-ups(can't help further on this without knowing what you use)
Your device and PC are on the same WiFi network
You have tried finding your IPv4 address from(windows example) entering ipconfig in a command prompt, and tried entering this IP manually in the app(reconnect/servers->the plus/add icon in the top right)
Not sure if you're still watching this, so I hope the above can help someone. I'll watch this for a few more days while waiting for an answer to my own query, so post back if it helps or you can give me more information about your situation.
